Here are some interesting thoughts I've come across in the past few weeks:
From a homily on "doing it yourself": Don't you find it interesting that when you walk into a bookstore, the self-help section is bigger than the relgion and spirituality section?
Cathechism of the Catholic Church: "The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for..."
Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC: "God's love was like a Divine 2 x 4 to the face."
Joseph Ratzinger: "People need to get straight in their minds that times of crisis for celibacy are times of crisis for marriage..."
St. John of the Cross: "In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone."
